Although I have taken photos in various forms for years now, I have never really been a “blogger” and never given my photos any more substance that just the picture itself and occasionally a title. So this is a little intro to who I am and what I get up too when I have the time to get my camera out. I do not by any means consider myself a great, or even good photographer but I enjoy getting out and about and now maybe even find I like telling the story behind my adventures so… I'm Oli, twenty two, amateur photographer and here is my first story.

Having grown up in a big town trying very hard to be a city, I really am not a huge fan of the hustle and bustle of London life, or that of any city for that matter. Having said that I do however find it fascinating as an on looker, visitor and as a photographer, it’s a place you can visit over and over again and never become bored but at the same time it is very easy to miss the new and obscure adventures to be had and do the complete opposite if you allow it and it can bore very easily. There is always something new to see or discover, however well hidden and it is place you will not leave without having a story to tell.

Over the past few months in between holidays and work I have had the pleasure of hanging out with great friends in and around London. From cursed bike rides through Lea Valley with Phil (popping a tyre within 5 minutes of riding is never fun) on the way to boozy times with the gang in Hackney and renting Boris bikes with Nate, Henry, Max, Phil and Boyce to visit the WW1 memorial installation in Victoria Gardens, to getting to hang out in the London smog with Boyce while getting drenched taking photos in the rain.
